Walt Disney World

The most magical place on Earth... made even easier

How many days should I plan for a Disney trip?

I typically recommend 7–10 days for first-time visitors who want to experience all four parks plus Disney Springs and resort activities. Repeat visitors can do a highlights trip in 4–5 days. I'll help you build the perfect itinerary for your family's goals!

What are Lightning Lanes, and do we need them?
Lightning Lane is Disney's paid front-of-line system. Lightning Lane Multi Pass covers most attractions (booked day-of, one at a time), while Lightning Lane Single Pass is for the top-tier rides and sold individually. I'll walk you through exactly which rides are worth purchasing and the best strategy for your travel dates.
Which Disney World Resort should we stay at?

It depends on your budget, family size, and which parks you love most. From budget-friendly Value resorts to deluxe options like the Grand Floridian, there's something for everyone. I'll match you with the perfect resort based on your priorities, early park entry, pool situation, theming, and more.

When should I make dining reservations?
Disney dining reservations open 60 days before your check-in date for resort guests. The most popular restaurants (Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table, Space 220) book up within minutes. I'll be ready to grab those hard-to-get reservations for you on your booking day!

Disneyland

The original magic... in the heart of California

How many days do I need at Disneyland?

Absolutely nothing! My planning services are 100% free to you. I'm paid a commission by th

Most families are happy with 2–3 days to cover both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. If you want a relaxed pace with time to revisit favorites, 4 days is ideal. Unlike Walt Disney World, Disneyland is compact and very walkable!
Is it worth staying at a Disneyland resort hotel?
For the "Magic Morning" early-entry benefit and the unbeatable convenience of walking to the parks, yes, especially the Disneyland Hotel or Disney's Grand Californian. Off-site hotels on Harbor Blvd are also a great budget-friendly alternative that I can help you evaluate.
What is the best time of year to visit Disneyland?
Shoulder seasons... mid-January through early March, and late September through October offer the best combination of shorter lines, comfortable weather, and lower prices. I'll help you pick a date that balances crowds, budget, and any seasonal events you'd love to experience.

Disney Cruise Line

Sail away on the most magical ships at sea

Is Disney Cruise Line worth the premium price?

I handle everything... researching the best resort options for your family, booking your hotel and tickets, making dining reservations, building a custom day-by-day itinerary, sharing insider tips, and being available to answer questions before and during your trip.

When should I book a Disney Cruise?
As early as possible — ideally 12 months in advance for peak sailings like holiday voyages and summer. Popular itineraries (especially those with Castaway Cay stops) sell out quickly. I'll help you navigate the booking windows and lock in the best stateroom category for your family.
What type of stateroom should we book?

For families, I typically recommend at least a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah — the split bathroom is a lifesaver! For a true splurge, Concierge staterooms include private lounge access, exclusive dining, and dedicated hosts. I'll help you weigh the options for your group size and budget.

What is Castaway Cay and why is everyone obsessed with it?

Castaway Cay is Disney's private island in the Bahamas — and it lives up to the hype. Think pristine white-sand beaches, water slides, snorkeling, character meet-and-greets on the beach, and a separate adult-only beach with its own bar. It's genuinely one of the best private island experiences in cruising.

Universal Studios

Thrills, magic, and adventure for the whole family

What's the difference between Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood?

Universal Orlando Resort is a full multi-day destination with two major parks (Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure), the Epic Universe park opening in 2025, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter across two parks, and multiple on-site resort hotels. Universal Studios Hollywood is a single-park experience in Los Angeles that's great for 1–2 days and is often paired with a Disneyland trip. I can help you decide which one — or both — make sense for your family!

Do we need the Express Pass and is it worth the cost?

For busy seasons, yes — it's absolutely worth it. The Universal Express Pass lets you skip the regular standby queue and use a separate, much shorter line for most attractions. Unlike Disney's Lightning Lane, you can use it unlimited times throughout the day. I'll let you know based on your travel dates whether it's a must-buy or if the crowds are manageable without it.

How many days do we need at Universal Orlando?

With the opening of Epic Universe, I now recommend at least 3–4 days to experience everything comfortably. Two days covers the original two parks, and a third day is dedicated to Epic Universe alone. If your family are big Harry Potter fans, budget extra time — there's a lot to take in across multiple lands.

Is it worth staying at a Universal on-site hotel?

For many families, yes. On-site hotel guests at select Universal hotels receive complimentary Early Park Admission — one hour before the parks open to the public — which is one of the best strategies for hitting the most popular rides before the crowds build. Premier hotels like Loews Portofino Bay also include complimentary Universal Express Pass for the length of your stay, which is a significant value.

Can we combine a Universal trip with Disney World?

Absolutely — and it's one of the most popular vacation combinations I plan! Both resorts are located in the Orlando area, roughly 20–30 minutes apart by car. A typical combo trip runs 10–14 days. I'll help you map out a schedule that gives each destination the time it deserves without wearing your family out.
